IBIZA UNDERWATER
From 2 to 16 September in Hotel Agroturismo Atzaró (Ctra. San Juan Km.15) you can see IBIZA UNDERWATER, an exhibition of work by Argentinian photographer Daniel Balda.
The show consists of a series of large-format underwater photographs taken off the coast of Ibiza and featuring nude subjects set in natural marine environments, including the fields of sea grass that grow in the beautifully clear waters around Ibiza and Formentera.
IBIZA UNDERWATER, which has already toured several of Ibiza’s galleries, is intended to focus attention on the fragile state of our seabed habitats and the importance of protecting them.
The photographs are the result of 6 years’ work capturing anonymous bathers as they swam and dived in coves around the Pitiusic Islands.
